On Tuesday, June 5, The Women’s Fund held a grant training seminar for local nonprofits interested in applying for a WF grant.  Facilitated by Women’s Fund Coordinator Betsy Brush Hahn, representatives from more than twenty-five agencies spent the morning learning about The Women’s Fund, our mission, and the type of projects that WF wants to fund. Big ideas, impact on the community and future sustainability were stressed as some of the major points that are considered in the evaluation of the grant applications. Members of the Grant Committee also attended the seminar and were available to answer questions that the agencies had concerning the vetting process and the voting by the membership.

Grant Committee Member Kathryn Droder and Tyler Family Circle of Care representative Linda Isabell discuss the WF grant application process.
